Day 01: Arrive in Cairo

Sun -CairoWe arrive in the land of Joseph, Moses, and the Pharaohs ofEgypt. Upon arrival at the airport we meet our guide and are immediately transported intoCairo, the capital ofEgypt. Your private van or car transports you to one ofCairo’s top rated hotels, and you will begin soaking up the atmosphere of this exciting city.
Day 03: Memphis & Sakkara
Mon -Memphis,Sakkara, Josephs Storehouses After breakfast we start our full day tour. We enjoy a short ride toMemphis.Memphiswas founded around 3,100 BC. It was the legendary city of Menes, the King who united Upper and LowerEgypt. From a Biblical perspective,Memphiswas the place where Abraham lied to Pharaoh about his wife Sarah being his sister. Further, it is believed to be the location where Joseph served as second in command. While inMemphiswe view a very large and well preserved statue ofRamses Ii. Next we travel toSakkara, which is one of the most extensive archaeological sites inEgypt.Sakkarais dominated by the Step Pyramid of King Zoser, dating back to 2700 BC. It is one of the oldest stone structures in the world. After we visit the Step Pyramid, we enjoy a stop at a local Egyptian carpet shop. Then we take a short southern drive to Faiyum, the region created by the wisdom of Joseph. Here you will find ancient storehouses and a man-made lake created by a canal, whose construction was supposedly ordered by Joseph. It is believed that this lake provided irrigation for a desert land and supplied the food needed to survive his prophesied seven year famine. Back toCairofor overnight. ( B )
Day 04: Giza Pyramids & Tutankhamens Treasures
Tue -CairoPyramids& Tutankhamens Treasures A full day of touring begins today with some sights of ancientEgypt- some of which date back to 1000+ years prior to Abraham. Today, we visit the world famousPyramidsof Giza.Cheops, with an original height of 496 feet, is the most colossal pyramid ever built. We take a trip inside to see the burial chamber. Then, we view two otherPyramidsand theSphinx. After lunch, we travel toEgyptian Museum">TheEgyptian Museum, location of Tutankhamen`s treasures and ancient remains. End the day with a walking tour of the largest 13th century covered oriental market, the largest traditional shopping bazaar in the world, the Khan el-Khalili Bazaar. In the tiny alleyways, there are hundreds of shops where you can watch gold and coppersmiths, brass makers, and fortunetellers at work. Look also for leather goods and woodwork inlaid with camel bone and mother-of-pearl. Bargaining, Arab-style, is the norm here, and practiced as a national pastime. Overnight inCairo. ( B)
Day 05: Abu Simbel & Nile Cruise
Morning flight to Abu Simbel viaAswan, situated 280km south ofAswan. The two temples of Abu Simbel are the most magnificent temples in the world. After visiting these temples, we fly back toAswan. Upon arrival, you will be escorted to your deluxeNileCruise Boat where you will spend the next 3 nights / 4 days. Lunch is served on the cruise boat. Then you will start your Cruise shore excursion. See firsthandHigh Dam, and the Granite Quarries with theUnfinished Obelisk. Enjoy a motor boat ride with a Nubian captain to Aglika island. Tour the temples and other ruins there. Originally all of these temples were moved from Philae island because of high water caused byHigh Dam. Overnight inAswan. ( B, L, D )
Day 06: Kom Ombo & Edfu
Early river cruise toKom Omboand visit Kom Ombo Temple (the Ptolemaic Temple of Sobek & Haroeries). Then cruise toEdfu& visitEdfuTemple. It is also known asThe Temple Of Horus, the falcon-god, (237 B.C.). This temple is considered to be the best-preserved temple in AncientEgyptand the second largest after the Temple of Karnak. A horse drawn carriage ride takes you to the temple and back to your deluxe cruise boat. Cruise toLuxorand overnight inLuxor. ( B, L, D )
Day 07: Luxor
Fri - Optional Sound & Light Show VisitWest Bank">TheWest Banknecropolis including theValley Of The Kings, the funerary temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari and theColossi Of Memnon. After having lunch on our cruise ship, we proceed to visit the East bank ofLuxor. There, we stop to see both the Karnak andLuxorTemples. Prepare to immerse yourself around a centuries-old city of pylons, hypostyle halls, colossal statues, shrines and obelisks. In the evening, you may choose our optional tour (Sound & Light Show L14 - $40 P.P) Overnight inLuxor. ( B, L, D )
Day 08: Arrive to Sharm Al Sheikh & ST. Catherine
Sat -Luxor, Sharm, St. Catherine An early morning flight to Sharm; arrival and transfer to St. Catherine, Check in at your hotel. The rest of the day is free, evening dinner will be provided at the hotel. ( B, L, D )
Day 09: MT.Sinai & Back to Sharm
Sun - Mt. Sinai, Sharm Just into the new day, those who desire and are physically capable depart for a memorable early morning walk up Mt. Sinai. It is a good 3 hour hike. You may choose to ride a camel part way, or stop at one of the stations to take in the scenery. The final climb to the summit is some 750 steps for a sunrise you will always remember. Once at the top, enjoy a time of praise and then depart down the mountain for breakfast. A visit is made to theSt. Catherine Monasterywhere you see the Burning Bush and the well where Moses spoke with Zipporah. Drive back to Sharm. ( B )
Day 10: Free day in Sharm
Mon -Sharm El SheikhFree day at leisure or choose an optional tour from your hotel (Ras Mohammed or Tiran Island Tour). Take a trip by cruise boat to Ras Mohamed National Park or Tiran island where you can snorkel or swim alongside beautiful marine life. According to many experts, snorkeling at Ras Mohamed is the 2nd best snorkeling in the world outside of the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. Lunch on board included. ( B )
Day 11: Free day
Tue -Sharm El SheikhFree day in Sharm. Relax on the beach. Read a good book. You may choose one of our optional tours today. See the stars, take a jeep ride in the sand, or have a Bedouin dinner in a tent. ( B )
Day 12: Back to Cairo
Wed -Sharm El Sheikh,CairoAfter breakfast, transfer to Sharm airport for your flight back toCairo. Transfer from the airport to your hotel inCairowith a stop will be made at the papyrus factory store, where we see the process of creating lovely Egyptian art pictures. ( B )
Day 13: Final Departure
